Ryan Manning thinks he's given the Saints a route back into the game but his equaliser has been controversially ruled out.
Referee Thomas Brammall is advised to come over to the screen to judge a tangle between Mateus Fernandes and Nelson Semedo.
He agrees with VAR's view that the Wolves defender had been fouled before Manning lashed home and the goal gets chalked off.
Mike Dean told Sky Sports: "It's very, very harsh.
"It actually looks like the foul is the other way…
"They should have stuck with the on-field decision in my view - I don't think it was a foul.
"The referee overturned the original decision and play restarted with a Wolves free-kick."

BEES HAVE GIFTED THE CHERRIES THE LEAD!
It's a horrible moment for summer signing Sepp van den Berg, who is punished for his blind back pass intended for Mark Flekken.
However, the former Liverpool defender's pass is straight to Evanilson who ruthlessly rounds the Brentford goalkeeper to open the scoring.

A goal inside two minutes but surprisingly it's not from Brentford!
Wolves, seeking their first Premier League win of the season, have enjoyed the perfect start against the struggling Saints.
Matheus Cunha threads a ball through to Sarabia and he shows great composure to round Aaron Ramsdale and slot into an open goal.

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has been forced into midfield against Fulham this afternoon to cope with the club's injury crisis.
The England international was named in Opta's team of Euro 2024 after partnering John Stones in Germany.
He was then strongly linked with a big-money move to Newcastle to become the focal point of Eddie Howe's backline.
But should is his versatility that Eagles boss Oliver Glasner has been forced to deploy Guehi in midfield at Selhurst Park.
Palace are without eight senior players, and crucially, multiple central midfielders, including Will Hughes and Adam Wharton.
Attacking talisman Eberechi Eze is also sidelined through injury, which means his Three Lions teammate Guehi will be stepping up.

Mikel Arteta admitted to not knowing the formula that sparked Arsenal's electric form in the second half of last season that carried them to within a whisker of the Premier League title.
The team spent a week in Dubai in the aftermath of what appeared to be two costly defeats over Christmas, as back-to-back losses against West Ham and Fulham looked to have counted them out of contention.
This season will not offer the chance for a mid-winter getaway with the league having axed the January hiatus from the calendar.
Arteta was at a loss to define the moment that galvanised his team and sent them on a supercharged run of 16 wins in their final 18 games.
"We don't know where that clicked," he said.

Rodri's Ballon d'Or victory left Real Madrid furious - but it turns out the race for the prestigious honour was tighter than fans thought.
It's been revealed Vinicius Jr - who Los Blancos felt should have won the award instead - was just 41 points behind Rodri.
French outlet Le Equipe detailed the results on Friday, stating Rodri won a total of 1170 points.
The Real Madrid winger came in second with 1129.
That would mean the Ballon d'Or winning vote was the second tightest it's been since the voting format change in 2016.

Luis Diaz is having a phenomenal season for Liverpool - and a new stat shows just how good he's been.
The Colombian star is the only player to have created 50 or more chances and completed 50 or more take-ons in the Premier League this campaign.
He's also bagged nine goals in 15 appearances in all competitions, level with Mohamed Salah, as well as two Premier League assists.
Arne Slot will be hoping he'll be in the same glittering form against Aston Villa.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly got his eye on the managerial role at Newcastle for his next job.
The Fenerbahce boss is hoping to step into the shoes of Eddie Howe should the Englishman part ways with the Magpies.
According to The Guardian, Mourinho believes his best chance of returning to the Premier League would be via Newcastle and is keeping an eye on developments at the club.
The Portuguese manager has only been at Turkish club Fenerbahce since last summer, with his side currently third in the Super Lig.
But he recently voiced his discontent in no uncertain terms after his side's 3-2 victory over Trabzonspor in a remarkable rant which included him complaining that the league 'smells bad'.
Mourinho has previously had two management spells in charge of Chelsea - where he won the Premier League three times - as well as separate spells at Manchester United and Tottenham.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly open to managing Brazil in the near future following talks with the five-time World Cup winners.
The Spaniard, who linked up with the Citizens in 2016, is in the final year of his contract at the Etihad, and question marks remain as to whether he will extend his stay.
And according to The Athletic, Brazil are 'making a major play' in their bid to secure the services of the Catalan native.
It has been claimed that Brazil's football confederation has called Guardiola on several occasions this year.
They are looking to replace Dorvial Junior who has struggled since taking the job in January, where he oversaw Brazil's Copa America quarter-final exit to Uruguay in the summer.
The news report also stated that Guardiola was annoyed at Brazil for distancing themselves from him during his successful spell at Barcelona, where he won two Champions Leagues and three LaLiga titles.
Despite previous circumstances, he is supposedly still interested, with sources claiming 'he likes the idea' of taking charge of Brazil.

Manchester United assistant Darren Fletcher will miss Ruben Amorim's first two Premier League games.
The Red Devils coach has been handed an extended three-match ban and a £7,500 fine by the Football Assocation following their 2-1 win over Brentford.
The Bees went ahead through Ethan Pinnock while Matthijs de Ligt was off the pitch being treated.
Fletcher is then accused to have acted in an improper or confrontational manner as he criticised the officials.
An FA statement read: "The FA alleged that the coach acted in an improper and/or confrontational manner and/or that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards the fourth official and the referee and/or assistant referees around the tunnel area at half-time.
"Darren Fletcher admitted to this misconduct, but denied that he was abusive.
"However, the Regulatory Commission found this to be proven and imposed his sanctions."
Fletcher will now miss Sunday's clash with Leicester, before Amorim's first two matches with Ipswich and Everton.

Just like that, Ruud van Nistelrooy's time as Manchester United interim manager comes to an end.
The Dutchman stepped in to replace Erik ten Hag after the Red Devils sacked him, but they moved quickly to appoint Ruben Amorim.
The 39-year-old starts as Ten Hag's replacement on Monday, November 11.
And ahead of his final game against Leicester, he's written some emotive programme notes.
He said: "The history at this football club is incredible and it will always be a huge honour for me to have played a part in that as a player.
"Now, however, I am here as a coach looking towards the future.
"When I do that, I see only good things for Manchester United.
I absolutely believe that this club has all the ingredients to get back to the levels I knew as a player, but it will take a lot of hard work and determination to get there.
"From tomorrow, I will be getting behind our new head coach, Ruben Amorim, and I urge everyone who loves the club to do the same.
"I have worked with this squad every day since the summer, and I can tell you there is huge potential in these players.
"Of course, it starts with the players who hold themselves and each other accountable because playing for Manchester United requires massive character, hard work and dedication every single day.
"Let me tell you, whether you are a player or a coach, there is nothing like representing Manchester United."

Arsenal are looking like they'll be without Declan Rice this weekend, but they do have Martin Odegaard back.
However, Mikel Arteta also confirmed he would have to make late checks on Mikel Merino and Kai Havertz.
Havertz suffered a cut to the head in midweek against Inter Milan and couldn't continue.
The Gunners are set to make a late call on him, while Merino was withdrawn at half time with an unspecified issue.
Again, they will make a late decision.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference about it, Arteta said: "We will have to wait to see how they react.
"Kai had a nasty cut so we had to take him off.
With Mikel he wasn't feeling great the day before so we had to sub him at half time."

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has set out the expectations for his players.
The Spaniard wants Villa to be regularly competing in all of the tournaments, and as a result, he wants the players to be able to deal with playing three times a week.
Villa were thrashed 4-1 by Tottenham last Sunday before falling to a 1-0 defeat in the Champions League to Club Brugge.
They now head to Anfield to play Liverpool, and Emery wants his team to be fully focused.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: “If we want to play in the Champions League or in Europe, if we want to be contenders for a trophy, we have to play three matches a week.
“If we are not able to play, focusing mentally and physically in this direction, we’re not going to get our objective.
“We’re training this afternoon and we’re going to prepare the match with the players and they’re going to be ready to play, mentally and physically.
“Hopefully on the field we can show our capacity to face them, competing and with the possibility to get points.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Jack Grealish isn't fit to feature against Brighton tomorrow.
Normally, this would just be a standard update, but what makes it weird is that the winger has been included in the England squad.
Lee Carsley selected Grealish for his third and final squad as Three Lions interim manager after making it clear he was a big fan.
However, he hasn't played Man City's last three matches with an unspecified injury and has still been included in the squad for games against Greece and the Republic of Ireland.
When asked about Grealish's inclusion at his pre-match press conference, he said: "That's a question for the England manager."
When asked if Grealisbh was fit, he said: "No."

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that captain Martin Odegaard is available to start against Chelsea.
The Norwegian made his return from injury in midweek against Inter Milan as a stoppage-time substitute.
And the Spaniard has revealed he can be in the starting XI, but it's unclear if they will risk him.
Elsewhere, Declan Rice is looking unlikely to make the trip to Stamford Bridge.
The England international suffered an injury, thought to be a broken toe, against Newcastle last week, and he didn't feature at the San Siro.
And Arteta confirmed that Rice had yet to train, but he wouldn't say what the injury was.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said about Odegaard: "Everybody in the squad is fit and available to start.
"Then it will be a decision on if it's too early or not for him."
On Rice, he said: "I have to be very vague on that one because there’s no clarity if he’s going to be fit on the weekend.
"He hasn’t trained yet, and it’s not clear if he’ll be able to play."

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has provided an update on Cole Palmer, and it's good news for the Blues.
The England international was on the receiving end of a horror tackle from Lisandro Martinez last weekend in the closing stages of the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
Palmer was left with stud marks on his knee and hasn't trained with his teammates this week.
But ahead of facing Arsenal, Maresca has revealed that he's hopeful that Palmer will train on Saturday.
If he does, he has every chance of being involved at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, he said: "He's better.
Hopefully, we can have him for the session at least on Saturday and then we can take a decision."

Manchester United have confirmed that Luke Shaw is back in training.
The England international was pictured at Carrington training with the main group on Friday morning.
He follows Leny Yoro making a comeback from injury, which is a timely boost for the Red Devils' new manager Ruben Amorim.
The plan is for Shaw to work on his fitness during the international break, with the aim to have him playing in a couple of weeks.
The 29-year-old has yet to play a single minute this season.
His last first-team match was the Euro 2024 final before suffering knee and calf problems.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Cristian Romero stands a chance of playing for Tottenham this weekend.
Spurs will be looking to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray, which is a scoreline that flattered them, given how many times they were carved open.
Radu Dragusin and Ben Davies in the heart of the defence particularly struggled to deal with Victor Osimhen.
Romero picked up a knock against Aston Villa and played no part in Turkey.
They are already without Micky van de Ven, so could do with Romero being fit for the visit of Ipswich.
Speaking directly to the Tottenham X account, he said: "We'll see how he goes in training today and tomorrow and make a call on him."
However, there is still no Timo Werner, Mikey Moore or Richarlison.
Ange Postecoglou hints that defender Cristian Romero could return to the Tottenham side to face Ipswich after a recent injury scareCopied
